This looks like a total garbage release. No upgrade to the audio, and a minimal picture quality upgrade. And it's a total bare bones release regarding special features. There's nothing, no commentary track, NOTHING.

This also costs 4x as much as the 20th Anniversary DVD you can pick up at Target for $10.

Motto: "Always looking for a new motto."
Weapon: Chomping Rotor Blades
That's really disappointing.

You'd think that since the '86 movie is on this fancy pants bluray thingy, that it would have some new nice little features.

What a letdown!

Meh, same thing happened with DVD. At the beginning, all the releases were just the movie, so the film company could cash in on the new format. Later on, they start producing DVDs worth buying. A LOT later in some cases.

Curses to the one who decided to wait to release a Special Edition Full Metal Jacket in WIDESCREEN.

I'm happy with my Sony release of the TF movie. I kept the Rhino release just for the Vince Dicola interview.
