I'm a frequent Deviantart user, currently I want to make a few drawings for Revenge of the fallen, sort of as a way to celebrate.

I've gotten a request to draw Depth CHarge, but I want to draw Hot Rod/Rodimus in a movie style.

Problem being (aside from the obvious fact that movie designs are rather complex) I can't decide on which car to make him, of course I'm going to add a spoiler to the back of the car but, I'm at a bit of a fork in the road.

Which car do you think he should be

Dodge Viper 2009

Ford GT 2009.

Give me a response so I can get on with this project.

i'd go for the ford gt personally, since it was the car used for alternators/kiss player rodimus (though that might be a reason not to if u want something different) But it is one of my fave s and I think it works well.

though there is a model of car i see frequently in the street that could make a good hot rod...can't remeber it of the top of my head, but if you're open to more suggestions i could find out?

okay I'l give it a shot, though I may make him a Viper, he was one in teh IDW comics when he was in Maximum Dinobots

Well, if you're going according to movie rules; he should probably be a GM product. There are actually lots of cars that fit the bill; corvette and camaro are taken, but I did Hot Rod based on the Cadillac XLR, and there are lots of cool GM concept cars available.

I would go for the Dodge Viper... or maybe a Bugatti Veiron.

I've actually finished the drawing, twice! hehehe.

What I mean is, I drew one, but it didn't have that movie feel as Alex Milne put it when I asked him to critique it. I redid the drawing though.

I like this, alot. Just something about it that fits the whole movie asthetic really well while staying true to the character. The colors are great as well. Very nice job, what color medium did you use? Color Pencils, Pastel? Just curious.

To Josh- Wow thanks man, this took a while to finish. Actually for colouring I used pencil crayons, though I'm toying with the idea of colouring on the computer once school starts up (I don't have a good art program on my home computer)
