Checked Penrith, Mt Druitt and Stanhope Gardens Kmart's. Nothing.
It seems South West Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide are the places to be to get them.
Some Targets in North Melbourne have also started stocking the movie figures.
Im surprised, the Kmart prices for the movie figures are all in line (or cheaper) with the prices for the Cybertron/Classics lines. Why then are the protoforms more expensive? $95 for a leader figure is a bit expensive isnt it?

I’ve been to a few different K-marts around Adelaide and it seems that only 1 or 2 are actually stocking movie figures, real gear, Cyber slammers, Plushies, and FABs at the moment. I thought it was pretty weird that they would have noting out at all in the past couple of weeks, and then stock their shelves during their 20% off sale.
Personally, I’m picking up as much as I can while they’re a bit cheaper. I agree $95 for Leader Prime is ridiculous (even $75, which is what I paid, is steep). Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great figure! I think this just means I may have to be selective with what movie figs I get.
Maybe if the Howard Government gave us all a “Transformers Collector’s Bonus” before this year’s election they'd get more votes!!!

You know I hate you right?

To be honest I was very surprised that any Kmarts stocked the new Movie merchandise during the 20% off sale, the reason they have the sales is usually to clear the shelves to put out the new goods...
Wonder how long before Ebay.au is inundated with "rare" Movie merch?

I'm starting to wonder if a few K-marts have made a mistake and released the figs too early!

Hey Robzimus, which Kmarts did you find movie stuff at? What did they have left? Had no luck myself and the sale's about to end!

The main one was Kmart Firle. Late this afternoon they had Blackouts, Ratchets, Barricades, Brawls, and of course Protoforms, from the main movie line. They also HAD a couple of Leader Primes, but I think they’re all gone now!
Apart from all the other stuff like Real Gear and FABs, I noticed something new today… a ‘Transformer Toothbrush’ that really “transforms”. It seems like they’re going merch crazy!

Not very long
So far only the Protoforms... that is surprising.

If we get even half the stuff that is getting a US release, expect Transformers Merchandise to be in every department of every store, from foodstuffs to linen, furnishings to Bike safety gear.
