The utterly dimwitted Decepticon data courier and minion of Soundwave who transforms from microcassette to robotic Stegosaurus.
Before I could modify his body and apply apps of dark pink on him, I needed to find and figure out the following:
- Find suitable twin cannons
- Find the appropriate place(s) on the figure to mount them
- Find a way to mount them on those place(s)
- Modify them for a distinctive look

I appropriately chose the cannons from a junk ROTF Deluxe class Ravage.
They are the perfect choice because they denote Slugfest’s status has one of Soundwave’s minions.
However, I heavily modified them to not only have a different and distinctive look, but to also somewhat resemble Slugfest’s original G1 chromed cannons. Hence the modified LEGO Cone 1 x 1 with Top Groove in Black that serves as the muzzle.

After long and careful examination, I chose the top place where the rivet that holds the alternate mode tail to the rest of the body to mount the cannons.

The “Pin” half of the 2 LEGO Technic Axle Pins without Friction Ridges in Light Gray were removed and the “Axle” half was drilled through for the M2 2MM x 25MM Machine Screws holding them in place.

2 LEGO Axle and Pin Connectors in Light Gray were modified to hold the cannons at their “arms” via shortened M2 2MM x 25MM Machine Screws with Nuts.

The places where the cannons are mounted do not hinder his transformation in anyway. Although given that they are removable, removing them before transformation is advisable.
Even in robot mode, his new cannons are lethal weapons that can independently fire at any direction.

In addition to the cannons, I took the liberty of removing the twin tabs inside the front of both alternate mode rear legs/robot mode arms to allow full extension of the legs/arms.

For Part 2: Body mods to give him a more distinctive look.
