I Finally got around to watching a few Transformers battle for Energon episodes on DVD, and I have to admit, kicker aside, I actually quite liked it.

I wasn't really a big fan of Armada, and I usually hate CG. However, I thought Energon was OK, still not as good as Beast Wars or even G1, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be.

I guess that's my guilty TF pleasure, whats yours?

I have listened to, memorized, and can sing five Japanese TF Intros
Fight! Super Robot Life
Masterforce
Victory
The last intro of Galaxy Force
and Animated.

I have no idea if I have the words right, but the syllables usually fall into place.

Wow, that's actually quite impressive, even if the words are wrong!

My TF guilty pleasure?

eBay.

I always get something TF on eBay when I get paid. Even stuff I don't need. Stuff I shouldn't be around but can't get enough of.

Dreamwave.

Oh how I miss it. And yes I liked Pat Lee's art.

They knew the G1 characters so well as evidenced by the MTMTE profile books. They knew G1 HAD characters. Didn't need to butcher old favourites like IDW did with Ramjet.

They made Sunstreaker a badass before IDW watered him down.

They were going to make Soundblaster and Twincast independant characters of Soundwave and Blaster judging by their appearance in the lab that produced Sunstorm.

They gave us Sunstorm!

They made Armada and Energon cool, giving us the best TF crossover, World's Collide.

It looks like we would have seen Rodimus Prime.

I know most fans deride dreamwave but it's what got me back into Transformers. Can't believe it's 9 years.

really? I feel way out of the loop (because I am) but why is this derided? I have all the dreamwave comics they were the only Transformers comics I really followed.

Dreamwave gets a hard time because of Pat Lee and some people consider the G1 stories to contain a lot of fanwink. But it was written by fans and personally I loved it.

An awful lot of things they did like the Seeker drone army are things I always wanted to see done. I loved the chemistry between Sunstreaker and Sideswipe and I found Sunstorm to be an interesting, not necessarily evil villain. Even Bumblebee during the course of the Sunstorm arc, questioned whether Sunstorm was really a villain. Plus I'm a sucker any time we get a new G1 character.

Transformers Cybertron. I still watch it. it just has a simple charm to it. i actually like it. I too like Dreamwave.

I gain a lot of pleasure from transformers fan fiction. Mmm! Yes.

I'm obsessed with pre-ordering Transformers publications on Amazon.com.

I also browse the Transformers toy section of every store I go into...I rarely buy anything (unless I like the character)but I sure do like to look! It's also fun to smile and wink at the TF collectors I run across every once in a while. Some of them run.
