my question for those in the know is/are there any comics or other works out there that talk about the first encounter with thunderwing? i mean just from the imaging in the story this was one hell of a battle and i would love to see how it evolved.not just the battles but his evolution as a charachter.the story alludes to him being a scientist of sorts who expirimented on himself and went nuts but how did it start.

No sorry, idw cut Simon Furman's run short in favour of Shane McCarthy and All Hail Megatron.
Furman had more planed for Thunderwing, and the Dead Universe for that matter.

well at least they cut it short for a worthwhle project as AHM was by far one of my favorite reads

I didn't think so, I collected the title for 3 years and wanted to see where it all leads to, just to have it cut short for an inferior story. Which is why I cancelled my subscription.

I agree simon's stories were the best thing IDW had for the TF G-1 on-going.
