Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't really gotten to do this so if I mess this up I apologize. I used to be on the tfmaster.com site before tfmaster passed away and always looked at the scratch builds and customs that were being posted. Now, I have the kitbash bug and want to make a Custom Scratch Build in a Classics style, I have Materials, and some tools but I want to make sure I have everything I need to make this particular character and make him look good. The figure is Motor Master, and I have a good idea of how I want him to look, I am using some Peices from Classics Prime to get an idea of what I want him to look like in vehicle and robot modes but I am not too sure as to how to approach it. Any suggestions? Thanks guys, and yes, he will be able to combine into Menasor as well, I have the 4 autobots from the Classics line picked out and know how I want them to go together, but, like I said I can see it in my head but making the parts is all together different story.

Have you checked out the tutorials at sector70? They are pretty good. Thats where I would start, if I were you.

OK thanks for that tip i looked at one person's menasor concept, I have to say that that is very close to what i wanted to do as far creating using mostly classics only in those respects. However, i disagree with the Using Nemesis prime and putting a Cybertron beast wars megs head onto it to create Motor Master. I have been looking it over,(I have a Classics Optimus Prime that is being replaced this week.) and i have been placing the cab peices as just the shell for the feet, I am trying to make sure i have maximum transformation and Combination as well. I will take some pics and post them to see if anyone thinks this mods is possible. I would love to hear from vetrans and or even rookies. I am open to any kinda criticism as long as it is constructive. thanks a bunch! I have posted the pictures of the basic concept below... :BOT:

I gotta say, you have brass balls for attempting such a huge 'bash out of the gate like this. The concepts look pretty cool so far--I definitely like where you're going with this.

If you can, post this up over at Sector70 also (I'm one of the admins there and we have quite a few of the old Transtopia "greats" that hang there, some of which help run things also). So there are a lot of great minds that can help you out with this and offer some tips as you go along. I look forward to seeing more progress on this, man!
