Hasbro has and does still make some cool stuff, but an oversight like that is very lame, regardless of the reason.

and I'm not defending Hasbro here, but those toys were designed WAY before the finalized script had been revealed. I don't think it was an oversight, the panel seemed genuinely disappointed they couldn't incorporate that aspect of Prime.

I didn't know that, so I cannot in good conscience fault Hasbro for that. However, an "all chrome" version of Leader Prime would be next to sublime, on par with MP Prime itself. I consider THIS a seriously missed opportunity on Hasbro's part (IMHO).

Because, at least an "all chrome" vs all grey plasticy looking version would be more movie accurate. It would also display even better than the already nice current version (IMHO).

I doubt even Takara will produce one, a tragedy truly.

Yes I know that's why its important to either buy an extra and have someone repaint it, or wish upon a star like me, that Takara will do a Masterpiece Movie Prime..Or not..the repaint of the Grey areas is doable though.

Ultra Magnus really looks great there. Im gonna pick him up. Oh $#*%!!! Thats prime.

Don't expect Hasbro to do good paint jobs. As history has shown, Takara far exceeded Hasbro in toy painting skills and paint materials.

No matter which line of Transformers toys, whenever there's a Takara counterpart, the paint is ALWAYS better by far.

Maybe that's a reason why Hasbro has avoided using generous amount of paint on Leader Prime.

Buy the paint.
Shake the bottle.
Use a small paint brush.
Apply paint where you want it to look good.
Let the paint dry.
Repeat.

And by the way, that particular brand of paint owns. I love it.

I like him i dont have leader Prime but robe vision. Since i dont want a bigger OP of the same design. I will wait and buy this repaint it looks good to me

Mmm, a jet black Nemesis Prime or Scourge would be much nicer than this Nightwatch Prime...

Honestly, voyager Ironhide is pretty much Nemesis Prime. Black truck, blue details (albeit not that usual aqua eyesore shade, but still), and turn the head around 180, you got a mouthplate. Granted you might want to do a little bit of painting and he looks more like Alt Nemesis Prime, but whatever.

Now, hold up. He's Optimus Prime (aka 'Convoy'), repainted to 'Nightwatch'... I'm surprised I didn't think of this sooner. (clears throat)
