I'd like to see a red repaint of Voyager movie Ironhide. I initially wanted to see a red movie Ironhide when the first movie came out but... what does live action movie Ironhide have in common visually with G1 Ironhide? Making the figure red would be nice but aside from that, I think the character design is cool and stands on its own.
If a red repaint was done, I would hope that the colour scheme is more varied in robot mode like Off Road Ironhide and RotF Voyager Ironhide. If the colour scheme was followed for 07 Voyager Ironhide, we'd see a garish and overwhelmingly red Ironhide robot mode. I'd also pick a darker shade of red plastic, like the one used for Classics Hot Rod/Rodimus.
One thing I noticed about Mike's review on JA Ironhide is that the crossbow attachment seems pretty darn loose...which kind of sucks considering it's going to be a part that sticks out on the arm and has more chance of bumping into things. If its' so loose, it's going to pop off all the time. I do like the variety of placements for the weapons in alt mode, though. Speaking of red and Ironhide, a smidgen of red on the head sculpt and you've got Rambo Ironhide.
