Could someone please help me figure out who some of the new characters are on transformers prime.

they also hinted of combiners in TF prime.

Unicron appears to be the big series main villian that the arcs/plots revolve around.

Wheeljack's coming back, though. Makeshift's fate remains ambiguous at the moment.

There's also the Autobot Tailgate who was seen and killed in a flashback.

I put him in past characters as he's not on the current cast, he's off in the stars somewhere.

My assumption is he's dead until proven otherwise. I doubt he could've survived that explosion

I don't wanna think he's dead. He's too interesting to have been killed off so quickly. :grin:

I, too would like to think he survived. But Think about it, They didn't even create a reall design for him as far as we know.
Chances are we won't see him again.
Although, I would like to see a little bit on his backstory

maybe have a maybe three part special about everybody before their debut

Team Prime's activities before the 'Cons return
Megatron's journeys
Starscream's arrival to Earth
Anything about Makeshift's past
Wheeljack's journeys (maybe he and Megatron could battle in space?"
Breakdown and Knockout's mysterious absence at the beginning
Airachnid's travels and eventual arrival to Earth
etc...

I, too would like to think he survived. But Think about it, They didn't even create a reall design for him as far as we know.

While it may be cast in shadow, this looks too detailed to not be a unique design.

Also also agreed.

Especially on Breakdown's absence. The Prime graphic novel showed him to have been on Earth since before episode 1 (he and Starscream teamed up to beat up Arcee and Cliffjumper), so I'm very curious as to where he's been during all that time.

Hate to butt in, but on that SAME video, there was a comment saying the following:
"And now this great show may be cancelled soon since The Hub might shut down due to lack of ratings and a 500 million dollar debt."

Any substnce behind this comment? I mean, Id'e hate this to go down the "Animated" Route, and I know they've already designed a crapload of characters and plots and inviroments and toys and stuff, but if this is true, than I'll be, needless to say, one angry fan

That commenter's over-exaggerating. This show is no no such danger. While the Hub did have a bit of financial difficulty a while back, no futher bad news has come out of that quite old news. >:oP

If Wheeljack was supposed to be like Drift or not, if Dark Energon was supposed to be like Angolmois or not, and if the Blood of Unicron were a different variant of Dark Energon from the Sparks of Unicron or not.

My answers:
1. Wheeljack's resemblance to Drift's character wasn't intentional.
2. Dark Energon's similarity to Angolmois is a coincidence.
3. Dark Energon works differently in the present history than it does in the the ancient history.

Season 2 is coming in November. The plans haven't changed. That YouTube commenter didn't know the whole story.
