The activators are just Animated with kibble. Nothing sets them apart from the regular versions of the figures unlike their apparent predecessors the FABs.

Supreme Prime might just be the worst thing I have ever seen in my life.

Wrong on all counts. The new classic look perfect! And the animated activators are basical basic versions of thier largerr cunterparts. They were actually really cool.

Well I offically love all of the Universe Classics. Maybe not so much the repaints of soundwave and Quickmix, but Galvatron is just off the hook! Not to mention my opinion of Sunstreaker has jumped from a 3 to a 10. Can't wait!

Animated is looking strong as well. Diggin' the Scorpinok Headmaster thing with Leader Bulkhead.

Yup. You'd be too if you tried to fix Leader Megs' arms only to find that one of the screws has a completely round hole at the top making it incompatible with any known screwdriver, then having to carve excess plastic off it so it could transform right, then fight impossible odds trying to pose it with its useless articulation. And then after all the trouble it caused you it commits suicide by jumping off your tallest shelf onto the hardest floor man can make. I heard the crash from across the house.
And imagine that's the reward for waiting months and months to find one.

overall im loving whats coming this year.
I love the headmaster idea with the leader figures, and he works with all the leaders aparently!!

im really liking soundwave, slag, BA, headmaster/bulky, the bright colours and strong shapes/form work so well, i love SW's homage to the cassette player! the dino colours are excellent, kind of a muted down later gen 1 scheme (you know, like the seacons, all pink and blue), very cool. i wish grimmers had been there, thats possibly my most anticipated animation toy.

minor dissapointment is animated jazz, hes a little off looking, not as strong as the other animated toys, still good though.

those complaining that the shelfwarmer extras (blasters etc) will reduce core toy stock, well its not like they are honestly going to stop you finding the toys you want, not really.

is it possible that 2008 is the best year for TF since, well maybe since about 1988!!

the only other gripes are repaint of cybertron in universe, reapints mean im not buying simply besause i dont like those toys, a bit lazy on hasbros part but to be expected. not to worry though as theres about 20 other toys that i want from this years offerings.

Why does Bulkhead have a pink head?

I guess I'm not excited because I see bumper battlers and blasters, which were the primary reason why I wasn't able to find much of the movie line. What do I really have to look forward to?

That said, I do like Universe Prowl and Sunstreaker, but I can't imagine actually finding them.

I definitely want Galvatron, Snarl, Prowl and Animated Blackarachnia and Oil Slick.

quick question: Anyone think Blackarachnia can ride Oil Slick in his alt mode? Would look kind of cool and I wanna use them like bounty hunters.

I like it all give me now. When I say all I mean all except the kiddy stuff. correct me if i'm wrong but why is Slag called Snarl or was that a mistake. I want all the classics but why does Blasters bomb have to be a bird he didn't have a bird in G1 and I love that galvy yay another G1 looking galvy but this time with an arm cannon and doesn't transform into a jet. I really wanted to see blitzwing, lugnutz and the other 2 dinobots, this year looks great.

I click the "next page" link on the toy fair gallery and show only the first page all the time. Anybody have the same problem?

I always had that issue with Powerglide too. He is a plane...he was modeled after one of the baddest,most vicious planes ever designed...and he was red?!?!?! I think this is much better...he even has KNEES this time around...LOL

As for Blaster, I would have liked it if they'd kept his plane section more black. FYI he isn't some "alien stealth bomber", the mold is actually very very close to the F-117A stealth fighter. check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-117_Nighthawk then compare if to blaster/Soundwave's alt mode. It's very close.

Ratchet has a great paint job and some cool extras, though he looks a bit fat.

Voyager prime has shorter arms than I expected

The Headmaster head looks just crazy

Those Activators might be the way to go for Bumblebee, possibly Prowl

I never even heard of Oil Slick, that ram's head is very distinct

I wish we could see Blitzwing, Swoop, Ultra Magnus, and Grimlock

Jazz is very sweet, absoluteley wonderful in both modes.

Why is Landmine listed as a Voyager in the movie gallery? I know for a fact it's a deluxe because it was the last thing I ordered from the Hasbro Toy Shop website
