I've been really wanting to pick up the prime and magnus sets. Just havnt gotten around to pulling the trigger yet.

Concerning application of the decals, I'd say you must really love your MP figs. Why? The UM set includes 4 pairs of "eyes" for Adult Spike and Daniel. The other 2 pairs I applied to Daniel in Exo-suit and Spike with MP-10. I'll upload my pics later.

The application process is really tedious that you need to have a steady hand.

Here btw are Soundwaves decals.



As I mentioned in the MP Soundwave thread, the hardest decal to apply i are those on his shoulders (the 4 yellow spots )

Since Hasbro Australia was the only site kind enough to allow customer service I inquired to them if Ocean Designs Decals are legit. This was their preliminary feed back

So I've had my set for Magnus for about a week now and I'm still too scared to attempt application.

Take a deep breathe. Make sure your hands haven't done any work yet.

Get a tooth pick, tiny twissor like scissor and a tissue forcep like device. Must be scale to very small.

Cut around the pattern the position carefully over the designated area.

Rub with a little force over the decal then peel off carefully.

Be careful with the ones on his forearms. I accidentally ruin mine.

The decals are strong when bonded on the surface but once they rip, even attempting to re apply over, the pattern tends to scratch off.

Then you'll get this......for all your efforts.

Ocean Designs Upgrades [There is one minute part from Reprolabels though which the upgraded version also included]













The version 2 of the decal sheet have additional decals for this torso and hip grooves. Plus decals ala pseudo mirrors on his side mirrors, G1 style decal for his shoulders and a 539 Britax decal for his roof. (There are some minute decals coming from Reprolabels (got that free btw)

Where do you find instructions for label placement? I've set the ones I can see in your pics.

I followed most in the sites that offered them. The Soundwave decal for example included a picture guide in the first release.

If you are talking about UM, in that thread, I am at a loss on where to apply 3 patterns.

For WJ and Exhaust, I used google images and reprolabels' site as a guide.

Yeah, it was Magnus. I bet we have the same 3 sets left, except I didn't mess with Spike and Dans eyes. If the dark square was a set you had left, I found that they work great as windows on his cab mode, and that dropped me to two sets left, plus the eyes.

Yup. The 2 black square and the two small stair like patterns. Freightliner goes on the chrome grill.

Spike and Daniel's eyes...... managed to apply all of them to BB Daniel, MP-10 Spike and the UM dad/son pair. Too bad I busted his forearm decals.
