Packaging criticism for Transformer toys
Packaging criticism for Transformer toys

I was looking in Jarrolds at Transformer toys and I kept on thinking they all looked ridiculously small but were in very large packages which are also very difficult to open. I even spoke to someone about it who agreed.
I am a fan of the 1980-1990 transformers I love them and I really miss the cardboard boxes they use with the see through windows.
Does anyone else feel the same?

Seems retailers prefer the hook system, so maybe that's why almost all toy(except Lego) are on a blister card.
I would like to see the Transformers brand use boxes for a future line like in the G1 era, just for a nostalgic reason. They are easier to store and display much nicer than a card. There is often some great artwork on the boxes too.

Also if they repositioned the toy a bit so it was more inside the actualy cardboard bit this would be a much better idea.
True about larger packaging = more sales though. I hadn't actually thought about that point.
