We have these where I work so I decided to try them on my next G1 restoration and it worked great! They are called wood sticks, or "orange sticks"
http://www.amazon.com/Debra-Lynn-Orange ... ood+stickshttp://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid= ... s&_sacat=0after soaking the sticker with Ronsonol for 30 seconds or so, just use the flat end of the wood stick to remove the sticker, then a bit of Goo Gone to remove residue (Ronsonol works too I just prefer GG for this step)
Its wood so it wont damage or scrape the plastic (use within reason).
Sticker removal can be a chore so anything that makes it easier is always welcome, hope this helps you too
