I stopped caring what PETA said when they tried to rename fish sea kittens.

Yeah, that move by them demonstrated to me how those at the top seem to be a bunch of idiots.
And it certaintly didn't make one damn difference to me because I had sea kitten for dinner last night and morning tea and lunch today.
And I won't hesitate to kill a fly if it comes near me either, I mean hey, I live in Australia, we're over-run with the little blighters anyway!

And if I learned one thing from Australian documentaries, those flies are most likely lethal just like 90% of Australian wildlife.
And anyway they're a bunch of hypocrites anyway.

I already trust these guys less. Extreme capitalism, more like.

Oh yeah, I live on a farm in Ohio so I know flies too. Much worse are the horse flies... imagine a fly the size of your thumb. There was also a protest against the Ben and Jerry's ice cream company where PETA wanted to replace the cow milk with human breast milk because they claimed the milking machines hurt the cows.
I don't get these people. I used think they were run by self righteous house wives who had nothing better to do but lately they've just been showing just how loony they are.
But then again these gutless people don't have greenpeace's balls.

Not sure if this was Australia only but just this week there was a fuss made in the news about mothers buying breast milk off the "black market" and the dangers involved in it because of the diseases and what not that can be transmitted via breast milk.
Yeah, i'd love to have an ice cream made from the breast milk of a crack addicted junkie ...

Wow.
PETA is insane--they also I think want to boycott maple syrup to punish Canadians for killing seals or something. But they feel like they helped Obama win the White House, and that he should respect their views and values in return. Maybe they're right to feel that way.
I've done the one-handed fly squish, and what I want to know is how come the news coverage didn't go into the rather disgusting fact that when you do that, you have *squished fly guts* all over your hands? Not a very presidential image, all that fly-innard-smear.
HK, sometimes when women are pissed off, it's not hormonal; it's because you did something stupid.

that's news to me. But... you're a 100% right. The idea of a heroine addict who may have AIDS supplying me with milk so she can buy meth doesn't sound appetizing.

Wow.That's not only sexist and offensive, that's just plain ignorant. Biologically, women *on* their periods are very mellow. Think of it this way: we're doing a slow bleed out. You think we have the energy to get pissed off? It's the PRE bleeding period you're thinking of. PMS. PRE Menstrual Syndrome. It's not called MENSTRUAL Syndrome. Did you miss that day in Health Class?

I've never been a fan of PETA.
I'm certainly not impressed when those ignorant bastards start comparing battery hens to people murdered in the Holocaust.
And where does one draw the line? They get their panties in a bunch over a fly? They must feel like scum when they use soap, think of all the innocent bacteria they're killing! And what do they do if they have a thread worm infestation? Are they going to murder their poop "kittens"?
Seriously.
And a lot of these people are just those upper-middle class, white kids who dont' have anything to define them as people, they need to feel they're doing something to help the planet. Its like "earth hour", people feel smug by turning the lights out for an hour feeling as if they're making a difference while the TV's blasting, the internet runs, their phones are on, their electric blankets are ticking over.
Its all bullpoop really. They need to get a real job, maybe an education.

Re: PETA annoyed with President Obama.
The only thing I get with PETA is animal cruelty.
Then again, maybe I don't.
They fight for animal's rights with a fever, but the bottom line is that humans are just smart (well, depending who you ask) animals.
If animals can eat each other in the wild, why can't we eat them?
Heck, technically eating people is only natural. Our ethics just block the hunger out with more "traditional" food.
My opinion is that Peta is full of Ya-hoos.
