Ares was awesome in Hercules and Xena and he's even cooler in Marvel comics. He wins hands down for that alone. Oh and if you want something legitimate to back it up he's the God of War and it's a fight.

I agree. The only god that would pose even the slightest threat would be Hermes and that would not be during a duel. Although a battle between those gods would never happen because Hermes would worm his way out of a fight before it started.

It would seem liklely.......but the idea that the old "Gods" are really aliens is pretty wide spread so who knows.

Uhhhhh....FYI, most of Aquaman's abilities arent depended on water.True if he becomes seriously de-hydrated he will grow weak, but thats true of every person.

They shouldn't fight if they care about Earth and their subjects the humans. Apollo is an important god in farming. He's also important in protecting young men and boys. If the others kill him then all soldiers will suffer and Ares wars will be much more difficult. Also, how can wars be fought if there are no crops or meat? These gods are all vital parts of the world system and hence wouldn't dare kill each other. Apollo is supposedly the inventor of archery, which Ares needs for old-style war. Basically, Apollo could make all archery impossible if he wanted. Winner: balance.
