20th Anniversary Prime

Postby BigScrufyWookie » Mon Apr 21, 2008 8:05 pm

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could show me a good website or something to get a 20th anniversary (or Masterpiece MP-01) Optimus Prime, preferably less than $100. I would greatly appreciate any help! :)

(I'm new here, so I don't know if this should go here or Carbombya, sorry if I made a mistake)

Weapon: Indepentently Targetable Particle Beam Cannons
I believe its the color of Prime's gun, its blue instead of black, Primes actual paint scheme: DVD edition seems to be a brighter more orangy type of red than 20th, and DVD has a talking electronic base with sounds clips from Prime.

If you live in the US, Hasbro Toy Shop has it for 69.99.

Otherwise, its going to be quite expensive to track one down.

Ditto. Plus original 20th Anniversary Prime has battle damage smoke finish & chromed accents throughout the figure.

You should be able to get a MISB original 20th Prime on eBay for around $100-$110 shipped.

If you are going for 20th DVD Prime on HTS.com, make sure you use 10% off plus FREE SHIPPING coupon code (SPRCAT8 expires 4/30/08) to further sweeten the deal.

Another suggested upgrade on 20th Primes is long smokestacks which you can get from eBay for $3.99 + $3 shipping, this HK seller from time to time will put a few up.

Cheers,

Overcracker is right. Best thing is to open up two windows and compare pics from Seibertron's galleries - that's what I did when I was looking. I decided against the DVD version as he is very orange, definately NOT red. Also the NON DVD version has a black gun which is the colour of G1 toy Prime's gun.
I got mine for £50 including shipping from ebay.
