Advice on Toy Display 2: Light Placement?

Postby Bonecrusher27 » Sun Jul 03, 2011 9:36 am

Dear guys

I'm in the middle of getting my displays set up, but one thought occurs to me. It seems that most people have lights only at the very top of the shelf, and even then that's only going to shine from the top down. This would actually case some of my figures in shadow, e.g. if I put Primus and Unicron on top. I sure don't want them at the bottom.

There are however some figures I'd like to bring detail out of which would be better served with lighting from the side, e.g. my Leader Sentinel Prime. In fact, some of my McFarlane dragons would do well with lighting coming from below to bring out some of their detail.

Has anyone heard of, known of, or actually improvised something like that?

Thanks in advance!
