The curved parts need to be in the direction of the palm, but I don't see why it has anything to do with popping off, unless you force them beyond the squared off edges.

That...is an easy easy "fix". Their ball jointed...so simply rotate them around 180 degrees.

He's correct. Mine came like that. Just spin 'em around on the balljoint and you're done. Works much better that way too. LOL
