I got these pictures off the back of the box for a Transformers Beast Wars knockoff toy. The Grammer, the spelling, the imaginative transformations of toys. Made me laugh and I had to share.

Problem is, proper TFs can be too expensive for a lot of kids to buy, hence the knockoffs. Authenticity doesn't matter much these days, in any society.

You're just jealous cause yur fanfics suck. :P
Yeah, a good story doesn't matter, kids just like toys. Until they fall apart in their hands.

Actually, I'd buy that Optimus knock off just for the white head... Could make for a neat Magnus figure... (or just to use for a kitbash on another similarly-scaled Transformer figure)

Did you get those anywhere where the rest of us could pick them up? TM Megs is hard to come by, and Ultra Cro-Magnus would make a great addition to any collection. Or, if you're willing to buy them and send them for reasonable cost, I'd be happy to have those, bad spelling and all.

these kind of knockoffs are all good, its the ones that look exactly like authentic transformers that bother me.

General Ape...heh, it has a kind of understated pride.

Megs should be Captain Dinosaur.

they could produce the entire line,

corporal spider...

an officemate of mine asks me where i get my bootlegs. that's because his son plays with roughly with toys, and original transformers are too expensive here.

What makes him stupid, Dead Metal? Bad plastic quality? I'm still curious to know where to find these.

I'd buy one of these for a kid rather than an original. The original is too expensive. And kids don't really care about authencity anyway
For every 1000 hits I get from seibertron my sister will buy me a new TF.. Click! Click! Click!

I always look through the KOformers at biglots or Family Dollar to see how they resemble the old chars and see if there's a story on the back. I love how the bigger guys have that monster card, and 4 transformation like for TM2 Megatron and on the card it shows him dragon to robot in 4 steps.

I might one of these days when I'm near a biglots and pick one up just to get one and see how they are.

He is flppy like hell once you transform him twice, all the cool extras like the mace and the turets are missing, the head is made of this hollow plastic that seems to be blown up. you can squash his head.

hahaha that's hilarious.

As much as I hate knock offs, I've been working in Asia for the past few years and see a lot of poverty here. These kids would think me crazy for spending $50 on a toy when that would buy them enough food for a month -- I kid you not.

You can understand why knock offs run wild here.

BTW, I didn't mean to spoil anyone's mood in this post.
