HK-TK has posted images of the Classic Optimus Prime Trailer Set. The set will include Roller and a gun. No word one when this set will be released.

Sure, Roller looks cool, but without pictures of the trailer (and any unusual features it contains, such as combining with Optimus), I think the jury remains solidly in deliberations on this one.

it looks like generation 1 prime trailer attachment not like the powermaster version kinda dissapointing on my end really wanted something to have prime in supermode evil & magnus have one no prime.

looks great so far is any proof that fans projects is making a trailer for classics? i hate to order 2 trailers this one & fans projects

Did G1 roller have his own gun or could you just stick Prime's gun on him?

I'd prefer a base IMO. Let Ultra Magnus have his day. Between the TFA figure and the CC armor/trailer Mags is finally gettin' the love he deserves.

If this is just a trailer and FP makes a Powermaster upgrade, I don't think there will be much competition...FP won't have to worry about anyone stealing their thunder

They showed a teaser almost a year ago. Nothing new has been shown, but apparently their still working on it. No plans for a PM Prime armor, as the Powered Convoy repaint CC would be their armor for classics prime.

The gun can be attached to Rollar, or given to Classics Bumblebee.

I think as long as these companies stick to products like this, which require you to purchase Hasbro's product first, they should be safe. But I'm certain these companies will start making their own full TF figures, and when that happens, Hasbro will definitely step in since the toys will be based off their IP, and start competing with them. If they know whats best, then they should stick to these upgrade sets.

I don't like the shape of the trailer in those images, it should be more like G1, i.e. more blocky less angular. I also think the trailer hooked onto Prime doesn't quite look right, it's too far to the back wheels of the truck. Should be closer to the cab.

Terrible idea IMO. The classics line is meant to be a contemporary re-imagination of G1. Does classics Optimus look exactly like G1 in alt mode? No, so why should his trailer?

Plus the trailer should match the toy it's being paired with. That synergy is all that should matter.
