Classics Punch Counterpunch up next?

I'm sure most of you have seen that sideswipe is sunstreaker with is torso opposite. Does anyone else think that Hastak might rehead the mold again and paint him up as punch and counterpunch. He would just need a double sided head and paint apps. Just a thought. And would anyone buy it if it were released that way?

i think that they could put a flipping panel on the to p of the head to flip down to cover the un-used head.

for hands, they could have the fist open into claws for counterpunch

and maybe new feet just to distinguish it a little more from the twins

and a roof mounted gun wouldn't hurt either

While it would be awesome.

As Jin's custom can tell us.
http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotom ... punch.html

I don't think Hasbro would do that.

The arms would have to be remolded so inside the forearm attached to the hands, is another set of hands, this way kids don't have to pull off the hands and choke to death trying to transform their character.

If Hasbro even considers making a Punch/Counterpunch figure. They'll probably look at their Swipe/Streaker mold as a starting point and then improve upon it.

Don't detail the thumb or digits inside the hand.

It's one instance were leaving out a tiny bit of detail adds more to a figure.

If anyone's put consideration into this, it's me.

Just Separate the arms at the bicep, and swap the around.

Takara could conceivably do this, Hasbro not so much, the like their robots to be all inclusive (no part swapping if it can be helped) so they could probably just remold the fists to give them a thumb that is at the center of the hand.

Like what they did with Energon Prime's OP units. Fire 1 and Copter 2 can be either a left or right hand for Prime. The thumb is just at the center of the fist, so it looks somewhat correct from any side.

Thats one repaint I would buy. I have Sunstreaker and I think it would make a great Punch/Counterpunch. Maybe it will come out for 25 years.

It's a good idea, but since they've already released the two molds, I don't think they'll do a third like that. Maybe as a Botcon special or something.

We were just talking about a Universe Punch/Counterpunch last night...using the overly-appropriate Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold! Although it has been done as a custom-piece already, I can totally see it done in mass-production as well...just gotta tweak it a bit!

I would buy that in less than a heartbeat! I think I would actually entertain selling an organ for that!

I agree and will also sell your organs to make this happen.

I will sell most anyone's organs to make this happen.

Yes, Hasbro have shown themselves unwilling to release that many versions of the same mold.

No offence to Cyclonus, but I don't think the Cyclonus mould should be used for Cyclonus when it could be used for Cyclonus or even Cyclonus. ( Sorry running gag :P )

I;d much rather see Wheeljack get his own mold. No reason to be a Lambo.

When there are still more repaints that can be done to the Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold.

Red-Alert, G2 Sideswipe. Deep Cover , Clamp Down, even Tigertrack

No need for Tigertrack. Just take Sunstreaker, swap his hands around and swap the head out for Sideswipe's. Done.

I think the idea is cool, but not as cool as how they used basically the same mold for the Autobot brothers.

Screw Punch\Counterpunch. I want Getaway. Ok, so it isn't perfect, but the huge engine and car shape work, as does the general "feel" of the toy.

I think were getting a Universe SE Sureshot. Most likely another re/paint or even a remould of Classics Mirage.

They did say they're was a red repaint of Mirage in the SE line, and I'm betting it's really orange and red.
