Has anyone used the Reprolabels cover-up set on Classics SS? I'm leary about trying the alcohol soak to remove his paint apps, I'd lke to see someone's who's used the cover-up decals- I'm lazy and bad at paint work, what can I say?
For kicks, tho, I'd love to see the decals you apply after paint removal. Thanks!

Re: Classics Starscream Reprolabels?
Is this what you're doing to my Starscream? lol, kidding.
I wasn't even aware of the set...usually the cover up ones are pretty good, although I used one on my KO Alt Wheeljack and in retrospect should've removed the blue stripes as they're still visible.
I wouldn't soak a figure in alcohol, that thought scares me. But it probably shouldn't hurt to apply it and rub the paint off with a Q-tip.

Paint removal is easy. I've got more than ten years of custom/bashing experiance behind me and its the easist part. Rubbing alcohol on a Q-Tip, some scratching with your thumb nail and you're done.
PROTIP: Don't overdo the alcohol or it may get on parts you don't want it to. Start small and work carefully.

Cool, thx- maybe I didn't try hard enough last time I started it. I'll give it more time.
And kirbenvost, you made me LOL- I just want to cheer up your old SS with a sporty new paint job because he misses you.

Haha, don't make me feel sad for him!

If rubbing alcohol doesn't work you could try lighter fluid, that's what I used to clean up my G1 Jetfire before I put the Reprolabels on, and I noticed it was going to remove paint if I wasn't too careful. So yeah, that works too. At your own risk of course!
