That is childish to show how far he dosnt like the movie just stupidit on his behalf.
What?
No seriously.
WHAT?
he's talking about the fact that i'm not going to pay to see the movie. if anything i'll download it from limewire.
bay only does good explosions. he can't tell a story to safe his life. i want story over loud booms and fireballs. I like booms and fireballs but that only goes so far.
Bay has no clue what a good movie is. He worked under speilberg. back then he saw a stroy line for a film. he called it crap and that it would flop in the box office. what movie was this that he declared a failure? Raiders of the Lost Ark, i kid you not.
Maybe if Bay had an arguement that could hold water as to why he went with his designs, other than he personally didn't like the older look, to boxy was his reply. Bumblebee with no voice? Or his sent not as a spy(like the character has been) but as a scout/warroir. Sound like another character we know, Snake Eyes from GI Joe. Prime accesses the internet, but thinks that Spike, who lives in the USA speaks chinese. Changes are one thing, drastic overhauls are another. This isn't a transformers movie, its a movie with shapeshifting robots.
Something with as big a fan base as Transformers needs something that keeps the fan interested. After all its the fans that keep it going. Look at Star Trek. Fans lost interest and now nothing is in real development(yes a little talked about new film thats not meeting great reaction either). All the props and equipment have been sold. That speaks great volumes about Paramounts plans for it. This movie is heading down that path fast thanks to Bay's need to prove that he is so great and a movie genius.
Effects you say? any movie that hits the big screen has effects that look wonderful. its not anything to credit.
