It's not a big deal, man. I was just saying I got one from Target and thought it really odd if Swerve was a TRU exclusive figure, then what was one doing at Target? I didn't know, and when I thought about it, it made some sense that it could have been a TRU exclusive because when I found Alt Sunstreaker, I had only seen him at TRU. So I had thought maybe that one was an exclusive also. Made sense to me.

Yeah, I only saw Swerve at TRU, so I assumed that what I read was true. Guess not.

Knowing a large corporation, they probably have some manner of recouping the loss. I was surprised that they would even recall them instead of just doing a running change. Seems a good way to drive the collectors even more bonkers, being the potential "Yellow Tracks" variant.

I was also thrown off by that. I thought at the least, they would re-run Hound and Dead End as well.

I remember when Tracks himself was the hardest Alt to obtain, and was going for a hurtful $80+ online. I was actually a little miffed that they re-released him, because I had actually found two retail, and bought both.

He's one of my favorite Alts due to his accurate representation of his G1 toy/character, and he was just so damned rare at the time. So he was a major bragging piece, for about a year...

Wow I never knew Tracks was once a hot figure and went for $80 online, now I feel more love for it (them).

Pulling out Q-Tips and dusters to give Tracks a nice spa treatment tonight! Woo-hoo!

Yes, the first red box release, it even made Toyfare's "Top 10" list for a couple of months. The Yellow version, I believe, was supposed to be in the first packaging, like Hound, Silverstreak, etc. That's why Tracks is labeled #4 and came in a red box, and Dead End is #5 but still in the old packaging.

After thinking about it a little, I'm wondering if they decided to recall the yellow Tracks because they already had many other yellow figures coming. Swindle, Sunstreaker, and Decepticharge were already in the works by then, so maybe they just decided to pull the figure and do over the color, so as not to have too many yellow Alts.

Or, it could have been fanboys like me who complained about him not being blue when the pics were released.

Hence the last sentence in that post. We certainly did not want him in yellow.

It was because the yellow looked like crap and ended up being transparent and uneven.

I still need the last two alts of the series though: Rumble and Jaguar (2nd ravage) - never saw them....

That makes sense.

I never actually saw Rumble or Ravage in this area at all. There are 4 WMs within a 10-20 min drive-radius, and they haven't gotten an Exclusive since the beginning of time. Anyway, yeah, I had to go online for them, paid $30each +shipping.

Ravage was worth it, Rumble not so much. He's the only Alt with a gimmick of sorts: spring loaded pile-drivers. I would have much rather had regular arms. One of my least favorite.
