Finally got concept BB...here's how:

Finally found concept Bumblebee! …and if you’re still looking for him and have Targets near you, I will share how to improve your chances greatly. Use the Target website to see when the Target(s) near you gets new shipments and get there early the next day. If BB is part of the shipment, he should be yours!

A little more detail? Ok, the deluxe transformers use the same stock number so you can’t tell specifically which figures they have (then again they don’t list 09bb on the site anyhow,) but you can at least tell when they have deluxe figures in stock. So go to the Target website and search for “transformers deluxe” or just use this link:
http://www.target.com/gp/search.html/60 ... =sr_bx_1_1
Next choose a deluxe figure and click the “find it at a store” button. Type in your zip code and an availability status will come up for the stores in your area. A lot of the time the statuses will be out of stock, as they usually are, or say limited availability. I wouldn’t bother with those stores as limited availability usually means none (at least none of that class,) but if it says available you know they have figures in stock. Your best bet, though, is to check daily and wait for the status to change from out of stock (or limited availability) to available…a new shipment has come in and if you get there when they open, you have an above average chance of landing BB, or at the very least have first dibs on the new shipment. I would probably also recommend to check in the mornings because I’m guessing it updates when they actually stock the shelves, although I checked last night before bed and saw the new shipment was in.

And I assume this method would work for other classes, too…again, probably won’t tell you specifically which figures they have, but you can at least improve your chances and know when to not waste your time going to the Target with empty shelves.

Good luck…

Sorry, it probably doesn't help the people with strict work schedules that start before Target opens a whole lot either...although maybe they could run out on their lunch breaks or if a new shipment gets stocked on the weekend. Just thought I'd share how it worked for me.

As for outside the US or not near a Target, I just saw a thread saying ebay prices are really dropping... :???:

So you're saying that if the deluxes on the site are listed as "available" for my store, then they may have CC BB? Or any of the other new deluxes? Because I just checked and all of them are listed as "Available" at my store except for Brawl, when I check for him it says there was an error and to try again later.

Either way I'll go check it out, I'm still missing a lot of the deluxes.

sounds good, but in heavily populated areas with collectors and scalpers who door warm every morning, the store stock finder is pretty much useless. when the targets down here restock in the morning, theres already guys waiting outside for the doors to open :? .

Yes...if it says available they should have deluxe figures in stock. They probably won't have most of the deluxe figures listed on the site even though it says they're available, but they will have deluxe figures of some sort.

As for CC BB, like I said, if you check daily and the status changes to available you know they got a new shipment. If most shipments contain BB (others could probably answer this better than me...but I hear two per box,) he should be yours if you get there first thing...well, provided the store employees aren't hoarding them.

Do they show up every morning, are they using this method, or do they have an inside connection?

That sucks man, I haven't run into too many scalpers here, but I'm sure we have some since it's still hard for me to find these toys. I still have never seen an Arcee of Concept Bumblebee in stores.

Speaking of sclapers, I remember this one guy at walmart, he bought 3 Ultimate Bumblebees, both Rescue Ratchets they had, a Thundercracker, and what deluxes they had instock. I got there right as he was checking out so I saw his cart, then I went back to the toy aisle and sure enough, nothing except Voyager Megatron. I guess he knew that wasn't a very good seller

As of 12:45pm PST, Walmart.com has Concept Bumblebee available again, if you need him go order fast, use ship-to-store to save on shipping if it's available to you.

Good luck!

What do you mean nothing came up? The link didn't work, it said out of stock, the "find it at a store" button didn't work? I know the Brawl "fiaas" button doesn't seem to work, as neosmith21 pointed out above, but check one of the others...the particular figure is irrelevant anyhow. If they have deluxe figures in stock, all the figures listed on the site (with the exception of Brawl) will say available at that store.

theyre there every morning. thats what they do. collectors and scalper alike gather every morning to their own local target religiously; its like their club where everyone knows everyone and if youre new, youre stared at. once the doors open they speed walk to the toy aisle. most of them go do this because its on the way to work, so they stop by and wait til they open. theyre usually hotwheel or star wars collectors, ive never seen any TF collectors door warm.... but with the recent success of the movie figs, both types have been going to the TF toys regularly.

Well, there ya go...you're half way there. Now if you check daily, you know when the status changes to available they have a new shipment in. Get there when the store opens and you more than likely have yourself a BB...if you still need one.

Even without the BB factor, I've found it helpful to know whether I should bother going to look for TFs. Before I'd stop by multiple Targets a half dozen or more times a week only to find empty shelves 90% of the time. Was amounting to a lot of wasted gas and time...

And I had been looking for BB for the past 3 months, I figured this method out and it took me 3 weeks. This was also only the second time I got to the store right around opening, too. The first time I was either a little late (got there about 45 minutes after,) an employee got to them first, or that shipment didn't have BB...they had the recon Barricade and G1 deco figures, though, so it was still a worthwhile stop...even if the G1s are all over now.
