Bumblebee (either version) and Blackout are the only two movie characters I am missing.
Was there anything special about their release that is making them hard to find, or are people just gobbling them up?
I didn't know if they were exclusives or short-prints or whatever.
Thanks.

Bumblebee sold out immediately when the 79 camero was out and looks like the 08 will be in an equally high demand. Blackout was hard to find at first but now the shelves are cloged with him and Ratchet here. I can't find Starscream at all.

Up here in Canada, Toronto area specifically, the movie figs seem to be moving fast. Voyager Megs is a hard to find figure, but everything else is pretty rich in the TRU/Zellers/Wal-mart scene. Wave one of the Deluxes went quicker then a hic-up and I'm thiknig wave two will as well. BB2 and Arcee are the bread winners of wave 2.0, but once more reviews drop about how big a waste of time and money Dreadwing is, he'll be warming the bench along with the classic mini-cons.

it all seems rather hit and miss. My useless local true has no wave 2 figures AT ALL. (thats bumblebee barricase brawl and jazz just incase you didnt know) but they have LOADS of ironhides, ratchets and blackouts. No starscreams unless you count the hundreds of crappy protoforms they have.

Yes, Bumblebee is impossible to find here in the Bay Area too. Blackout is pretty common actually. TRU, WalMarts, and smaller toy stores are where I go browse and it's the same everywhere.

I did find Blackout at my local Target, and there were quite a few on the shelves.
The associate could tell I was looking for Bumblebee and said that everyone else was doing the same.
Can't wait to find him, that's going to be a good day.
