Recently we reported here that IDW will be offering a Transformers Movie Prequel comic for Free Comic Book Day. More information about the free issue has now been post on the Free Comic Book Day website. Here is the description that was posted:

Sweet! Finally a GOOD comic for FCD! Usually they just re-release the first issue of one of their more recent series.

Checked out the list of comics... there is nothing else in the line up that look decent (Little Archie?) so my guess is these will go FAST

Sonic fans will be getting the StH comic. But other than that, yeah, it's all crap. I remember when Dreamwave put out Duel Masters. It's rare to see anything good, whcih is why it's okay to only get 1 per person.

But... that's precisely what they're doing.

That book goes on sale in February. We'll be several issues into that series come May. Not that I'm complaining about a free Transformers comic!

I'm curious about the extra artwork from Don. Probably some design sketches, which I love!

Sure will be neat to learn the past of the Transformers in the new movie.
