Cheaply made something, hard to transform and some of the parts won't fit into where they might suppose go. looks kinda sorta like a jet or something, mainly copped him because he looks cool in robot mode - and I need a practice fodder when I get prep to do my painting and modding..

Can anyone tell me if he's base on some little-known Japanese Transformer or what?

This caught my eye only because you mentioned san antonio I can't say it resembles any transformer i've ever seen, it does have some gundamesque qualities..

Ah! Starwave Prime picked one up, also at Tuesday Morning, back in Feb. Turns out it's Black Ox from Tetsujin 28FX.

like because I can't transform the thing without some parts threatening to come off or break but that's not why I picked it up.

Sorry I know this thread I started is hella old but I browsing online day and I found this:

Damn that thing looks kick-ass. If I'm successful with a prototype custome I'm working on, I may buy a few more and have my Deception - wait no.. they'll be a NEW faction lead by my MakeToys Fallen and Death Convoy(Black Convoy) Marauders Assassination Squad
