G1, BW2, TFCC Seacons - Which rock hardest?
- Weapon: Kinetic Energy Friction Rifle
I apologize if this has been done recently, but the first few pages of topics didn't have it, and I'm curious. With the TFCC set out and in people's hands, what does everyone think? I've wanted the Seacons more than any combiners (`cept Predaking, natch, but he's already part of the family), and even have my poor, lonely Tentakil and Seawing (had but lost Snaptrap, tho I have all the non-shield p-con bits). I've got the money coming in the next week or so to finally get one of the three sets, and my head's about to explode trying to decide which.
So tell me, fellow Seibertronians, which iteration of the Seacons do you like the most and why?
(I'm currently leaning toward god neptune despite the nautilator void, because the color palate is so nice)

TFCC deco is best overall.
BW2 is the most coheasive.

I'm kind of biased here in my answer. The TFCC version is the only one I've ever owned so you can imagine which one I think is the best!

Well, as I owned the G1 (still have some but not all) and the God Neptune, I perfer G1. So much that I didn't bother ordering the TFCC version. I still don't understand the coloration of the TFCC one at all. At least G1 gave off an aquatic vibe.

The TFCC ones look like a coral reef to me.

Re: G1, BW2, TFCC Seacons - Which rock hardest?
I think it's the most recent version that Rox the Hardest.
G1:
The original were really ugly, and the characters in the Jap series were laking personalities, literaly, the only one with a persona was Snap Trap.
Now in the Marvel Comix run, they had the whole Underbase Saga going on, nice story. with the whole Starscream build up, but they were still lacking.
Beast Wars:
They received a better paint job, and being a Pirate is always cool. I will admit, that I never saw the Beast Wars movie, so I don't know much about there characters.
However, they are missing one of their own. Sure they can still combine, but without their fith little buddy, I only give it 5 out of six, literally.
Universe:
Rock the Fudge on! They finally got their lost member back. And the new colour scheme is really cool. Still a little flashy, but apparently that's their thing.
My vote is for the newest incarnation.

Hadn't actually thought of that, but that's a really good point. I also just recently saw a video review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edJKblflBq8&feature=user (hope that works) by this guy peaugh, which gave a little more weight to the new set too.
Thanks for your great input guys!

I think the newest set is the best overall...
Best box--it is solid and awesome to use as a display piece
All Accessories--including the stands
Acceptable colors--different, but cool
BW- No stands, great set, no accessories at all to speak for individuals except Snap Trap
G1- the original cannot be bad, but the colors compared to the newer versions are a little...sad by comparison.
TFCC all the way.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with not making a lot of posts. I always prefer quality over quantity.
From what I see, you definitely bring quality to the table.

BW2 all the way. Hardshell and Co are the best IMO.

I'll speak up for the garish G1 colors. I actually like 'em. G1 also looks good standing with the other 'con combiners.
The TFCC set, which I also have, is fantastic too. The box is great. The paint on the TFCC is superior with the details, but I still feel the color palette is a bit bland. Maybe I'm biased after so many years with the funky G1 scheme, but my vote is for the G1.
