I can't help you there, just be sure to attach the inner thighs to the torso or he won't be abile to walk.
Also take the tracks and attach them to his back in a U shaped ark and he will mow down whatever is infront of him so long as it doesn't get in the way of his feet
Omega Supreme is my all time favorite Transformers figure, enjoy him!

There is most likell a broken or worn cog or gear. Do you hear anything clicking around if you shake it a bit? If so, you might be able to superglue a broken gear.
If you need to replace a part, you'll probably have to get a junker tank piece.

Your lucky yours works, mine doesn't! Speaking of which, he has some blue crap around his battery compartment. I am wondering if I can sand that off or something, perhaps that's what's stopping him from working, the corrosiveness

If you need a cog or gear for the head movement, I may be able to help you as I still have my original OS from when I was a kid, minus the head of course. Gears & cogs are still there though if memory serves.

If you take off the yellow side guards and remove the four main screws on the underside you can seperate the body. Remove the screw holding the electronics in place and you'll have access to all of the gears and cogs. You should be able to spot any problems.
