I just wrote an article about these toys. I know there's been a lot of confusion about these toys, so I'm hoping this will clear things up. Enjoy!

I appreciate the article and the time invested. I have had my fair share of the Chinese pieces in my posesion and even though they are authorized by Hasbro, I can say that the quality of the toys borders on crappy. I did a piece a whle ago where I opened a Cyclonus. The arm fell off out of the box. The rubber nose wasn't cured so it was sticky and smelled like bad fish.

I would consider them early reissues with a real lack of quality control.
