Perceptor is also amazing in person, that shiny red and silver really pops.

Yeah, I thought he got unfairly savaged by quite a few people in other threads. Loving the metallic paint. He rocks! :BOT:

Stop! I don't want to have to pick these up too! #-o :D

Better to get them now than when the price inevitably goes up later..... :-D

It's hard to say if they will go up or not quickly. The obvious ones like Jazz, Tracks, Wreck Gar, and Scourge, but the more common, similar to HASBRO versions may sit for awhile, or at some point may go on sale...it's the collector's folly: Buy now at full price, or wait hoping for a sale, or due to uncertainty, and you may be paying a whole lot more when the availability suddenly crashes.

It won't matter, both United and Generations Kup use the exact same head and paint apps on the head.

:???: The heads will be replaced by the iGear heads.

It's the rest of the body i'm concerned about...

If the current head is the same and works for both, you'd think they'd design the iGear one to do the same...

Curious about the igear heads because the paint shade on the E-hobby one seems to be a more aqua blue.

A for value I got UN Jazz for $24.99 form Japan on ebay, now he;s no less than $35. Even UN Drift was only $22 from ebay as well. But now the prices are in the $35 to $40 range for a better paint job. I think retailers are catching on this time around.

When I got Henkei Ratchet, he was about $23 on ebay last year, now he's almost 4 times that and it's been barely a year. Amazing.

The iGear heads wont' match the Ehobby Kup. I got my United Kup yesterday. He is so shiny! I like the United one better than Generations mainly because of the painted "abs" on him. It's a little more color to break up the green. Kup is a fantastic figure one way or another. I will keep the united one on display as is. I have a 2nd Generation one that will get the head with the Cy-gar.

The paint on United Kup is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I realize that Kup is the old guy and wouldn't typically be thought of as nice and shiny, but you really are doing a disservice to yourself if you don't check this guy out. The metallic doesn't show up in pictures as well as in person, and when you hold it, it just feels special.

The same goes for Tracks, but I think most people can justify that one better.

This is why I went gaga over the United versions of the WFC figures. It just works so well for them IMO. Kup, however, needs to be more drab and certainly not have that lustre to him. At least that's my opinion of him. I'm sure as a different character, I'd probably be all over it though.
