As you can tell form the subject I have a few question I'm considering three transformer figures inparticular but I was wondering what else I should be on the look out for. The three transformer figures I'm considering are:
1. predking gift set
2. twin cast
3. G2 Battle Convoy / Laser Optimus Prime but I'm not sure about him because I have rid black convey/scourge.

Dude, you want to get the Predaking gift set. Getting the Predacons seperately in good to MISB condition is monstrous compared to getting the gift set.
By the way which import store are you going to? There's one in Northgate called Kicks Hobby of Japan that might be carrying the Predaking Gift Set.
