HELP - Classics Rodimus surgery: need help, doctors and wannabe Ratchets!

Postby zemper » Fri Sep 28, 2007 10:26 am

i just bought another classics Rodimus to replace my old one, which suffered from loose elbow jointitis. unfortunately, the new one also had problems of its own, most especially misaligned panels and whatnot. terrible, terrible woes seem to haunt me.

is there a way for me to pop off the arm of Rodimus from the shoulder socket and without damaging the shoulders and transfer it to the other Rodimus? the shoulder's are waay too tight and i'm afraid i might break them. thanks and hope for answers!!

I wouldn't suggest popping off joints, mainly because they often cause stress lines. I advise you to remove parts connected via screws instead.

Weapon: Air Rifle
If the first one's loose, why not just slide them off, coat em with nail varnish, and when it's dry pop it back on? :???:

There shouldn't really be any stress marks from that.

thanks for replying guys, i appreciate it. but i found a better way instead. per Nujevad's suggestion, i looked at Rodimus and found out that under his chest/hood area are 3 small screws that hold the entire section together.

i tried unscrewing it, and i found out after opening that it held the entire arm (connected to the shoulders) together inside. so i opened up the other Rodimus, took out both of the arms, and transferred them to the old one. voila! my old Rodimus has a fresh new set of arms!

i wish i could have had photos but i was so tired last night and my camera had no batteries.
