How do you combine Leader Megatron's arm into a cannon?

I searched all over this forum and can't find the answer. I know the instructions are vague, but some of you posted pictures showing how.

i dunno if thiswas posted before ,. but it's more proofthat megatron was an after though in design.

I tookthe spring out of the "gun node" and put it inthe "claw node" so that the claw launches and the gun in the gun node actually stays open instead of being forced back closed. Then i saw the sliding track as i re attached the gun node . and bingo.. the two arms make the mighty fusion cannon. you flip back the claws..
till they snap against the forearm..
snap the two "buckle" clasps together..
flip the button under the gun node
slide it along the track till it's in the middle.
bingo :)
If this has been posted before my fault..

i even created a thread with this..

I think I got it, but I can't tell because the flash in that image made everything look really white and I can't see the details

An underside look at the lever would be helpful.

You seriously have to perform surgery and remove the spring? Man, what happened to buying a finished product?

These aren't my photos as I don't have the toy yet...

Still, they explain pretty clearly.

That Megatron figure looks a whole lot like Generator Gawl. Hasbro really messed it up with that poor paint job though.

Thanks! I figured it out before I saw the new pictures.

Is it just me, or does the search function not work at all on these forums?
