I have noticed on the net that some people have their crossfire combaticons weopons layout as per FP instructions but others have set theirs out differently in some cool ways.

I have mine set out like so:

Brawl has the grenade launchers instead of the beam submachine guns in tank mode.

Vortex has his legs underneath him like in the reprolabels pic his missle launchers/shoulder joints are flipped over so they are sitting higher and th beam submachine guns are in the extra flap with the post hole so it kind of looks like gun pods in helicopter mode

Swindle/munitioner i gave the huge particle cannon kind of like a sniper rifle in robot mode

Onslaught i saw someone else have a pic of a fourth mode which they called a "heavy assault mode". This mode has his legs extended and the bruticus feet on the posts on onslaughts knees facing forward and the hand guns on post on the feet so all weopons are facing forward.

how are everyone elses set out?

Mine started out decked to the 9's. Sniper rifle in his hands, sword on his arm, shotguns on his back and shoulder cannons down. He has since been stripped down. First the cannons went up then the sniper rifle went back in the box. He was holding the sword and a shotgun with the other still on his back. Then the sword and the extra shotgun were put away. Finally the last gun was put away just the other day.

While I understand and appreciate all the weaponry, what I love most about the combiners is the sheer strength that they have in combined form. Even a fully armed Crossfire Superion doesn't look like he'd stand a chance against a stripped down Crossfire Bruticus.

Bruticus isn't a warrior. Bruticus is war.

I gave him the WSTF Shockwave to hole as well as his rifle. All of his weapons are still on him, though.

I like the classic weapon set-up from FansProject. The legs on top of the missile launchers just adds more to the helicopter. Although I currently have the large sniper rifle in '1/2' mode and on the dual cannons like in the pic, I'm not a big fan of doing that. I'd rather find some other place for it that doesn't make it look bulky.

BTW, I just added the Reprolabel decals to the set and it looks amazing! Definitely added a touch of life to the figures.

I tried putting Vortex in 'copter mode like that w/ the upgrade missile batteries and it just doesn't work. Toying w/ FansProject's transformation w/ the batteries makes the arms a bit shaky as it is.

I really love the combined mode of the combaticons but i dont like to leave out all the extra cool stuff that can be done with the set so every couple of weeks i transform all my tfs to a different mode and the combaticons get to go through their combined mode, vehicle mode and robot mode. But onslaught gets to go through his heavy assault mode and his launch base mode aswell.

I quite like trying to figure out different places for the add-on weopons i think the kit was kind of made to be customizable

Oh and i was thinking about getting the reprolabels stickers for the set aswell im not to hot on putting stickers on though. Whats the quality of the stickers like do the they stay on or come unstuck and are they really difficult to put on
