Also just something I'm curious about, you mention in your Original post that it an out of state driver, but would it have really been any better or worse had it been an instate driver, from both a practical and insurance/legal standpoint. Also did the driver of the other car receive injuries? Just curious.
as soon as the guy hit me and the police came he old them he had to go cause he had a plane to catch so the officer took him to the airport he neglected any medical attention and the officer put that in the report

actually i won't cause i have to buy a new car now and i had just got thic car a month ago this was my first car
You should get more than enough money to buy a new car and still have a decent amount of cash left over. I got into a minor accident 3 years ago, got rear ended by a lady who wasn't paying attention. Very little damage to my trunk but I did spend 3 months going to the chiropractor. I walked away with a new bumper on my truck and $8000 for pain, suffering, and inconvenience. Make sure to play up that you're a college student and it has been difficult getting too and from class and really uncomfortable sitting in class and you should do just fine.
yeah my insurance already said it is really bad so that comes into consideration plus the other guys was sitting there taking parts off his car and the officer saw him and got mad at him and put that in the report
i have one crappy pic of me in the hospital and i should have some more pics of the car later if yall wanna see

yeah, i can't imagine someone whose been through that accident, get some broken bones (man, are they painful, from what you have described) and still, go online and have a fine discussion with the people here.
wow, not having airbags really suck. you're blessed you managed to get through that without 'em.
question: are you bedridden and typing on a lappie, or did the hospital already release you and you're on you PC typing away?
im already home im typing on my pc i have a wirelees keyboard so i am fine it feels weird but it is cool

glad you are okay... man, I'd just beat the moron who ran the red. I ride bikes and I see red light runners quite often. I have to be rather careful and make sure there is no one being daft.
I hope you heal well and keep hunting.

Wow, that sucks; hopefully you'll feel better soon!
I think us collectors don't get enough credit/recognized for having to deal with all of the potentially life-ending dangers that become encountered on normal tf hunts. Stuff like car accidents, being mugged, and etc. I mean, i for one know what it's like to drive all over the place looking for tf's and have successfully evaded many encounters with potential tragedy, from potholes to dust storms to people almost crashing into me and so on.
I'm glad the community is coming together to support you and stuff and it gives me perspective on how tough it is to search for tf's.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about the accident, there are some real nut-bars out there. I'm glad to see you're ok and that you're leg wasn't actually broken. At least that's one less thing to worry about.
But Uber-Congratulations on the fiancee! I hope the two of you will be very happy. You should get a wedding cake with Hot Rod and Arcee on the top! That would be awesome.
And even better you got Starscream!! {kidding}
Hope you feel better soon, make sure you take it easy.

Eh? sorry, I mean bicycle. I don't drive a motorised vehical, they tend to terrify me. I don't even have a license. A couple friends of our family were killed by a drunk. They were on a motor bike.

That is why I hate going to the only wal-mart in my area. On the way there the road gets all funked and Michigan has some moron drivers. Just take it easy for the next month-2 months and you should be back to TF hunting with your Fiance and hopefully new car.

Wow, and I thought I had a busy weekend! I'm not sure whether to say "that sucks" or "congratulations"! Both I guess?
