So I recently jumped back into the TF world, I was never big comic book reader as a kid. So I was limited to the cartoons only and the movie.
But after getting my TF spark (haha) re-lit, I started reading all of the Transformers IDW Collection Phase 1, I will be finished volume 8 very soon...I did order Phase 2 volume 1, but IDW has not (to my knowledge) published Phase 2 volume 2... I am assuming I am caught up at this point but, you know what assuming does...
I will probably get it when it comes out, as I want the hardcovers on the shelf, but which IDW issues should I start with after reading Phase 2 volume 1?
In addition is there anything I should read that is not in Phase 1/Phase 2? Or anything I should just read period in your opinions? I would rather stick with trades as I do not have the room to start collecting comics at this point and I think I would be "run out of dodge" if I tried LOL...
IDW Collection question, where to next and am I missing anything?

Ok, so Phase 2 volume 1 ends with MTMTE #5, RID #6. We are currently on #38 for both.
You'd have to go from either single issue from there, or with the trades volumes 2 onwards (though there is some overlap, unfortunately). The two ongoings cross-over, storywise, with Dark Cybertron, and then split again after that (trade volumes 6), with the addition of the mini-series Windblade too.
From the past, however, I sincerely recommend Last Stand of the Wreckers, the hardcover if you can.

Thanks Va'al I am ordering volume 2 and 3 for each and I will look into getting the Windblade mini-series and Dark Cybertron ongoings as well.
As for the Last Stand of the Wreckers, does the hardcover have more than what is included in the Phase 1 Volume 6 Hardcover?

If it has all the stories and Mosaics, then no.
Bullets, Zero Point, Dead Men's Boots, Escape and In Word and Deed is what you're after with that edition!

I think they are all in there (The chapters are not named) but it looks like the hardcover has some extras in there. I going to but it in a few weeks.
