Oh yeah.
The main question about it is this: How can something be so action packed while still being boring?
I'm watching Energon. Out of my own free will.

It starts off strong.
Then... well....
It's not boring so much as it is confusing and repetitive. Get ready for a lot of amnesia.

I'm halfway now. Was Kicker intentionally written this way? He's the worst human chacter ever.

I think I made it through 3 or 4 episodes before turning it off. I did watch the jap version, Super-Link, and enjoyed most of it. Even in that, Kicker is portrayed as a total d-bag. He does use the Energon Saber as a surf board.

It's like Dragon Ball Z. Action with little substance (and I like DBZ).RhA wrote:Oh yeah.

DBZ is just very, very slow, yet still coherent. Not always sensical, though.

Kai was much easier to watch (along with its exceptionally good English dub).RhA wrote:DBZ is just very, very slow, yet still coherent. Not always sensical, though.

I'm watching it with my kids, the original run. I started on Dragonball and we just kept going. A fun watch. I'm at the Ginyu part on Namek now. Kai never sat right with me, it feels like cheating.
Back on topic- Energon was currently worn me out. I'm at ep 30 and I don't have the energy myself to continue at this point.

On the contrary. For me, it felt like a proper clean up of excess waste and vapid tediousness. I wish Toei would give the original Dragon Ball the Kai treatment as well.RhA wrote:Kai never sat right with me, it feels like cheating.

Episode 30, eh? You're only eight episodes (nine if you count the undubbed episode) away from the big epic final fight against Unicron.RhA wrote:Back on topic- Energon was currently worn me out. I'm at ep 30 and I don't have the energy myself to continue at this point.

After that, you'll be only five episodes away from the 500th episode special that is actually pretty funny. Arguably the only episode of Energon actually worth one's time, if only just for kicks.

By then, you'll only have eight more to go until it's all over.

I did see that 500th ep. Which was funny, actually.
...and we've got that Dragonball link again.
