Is Hasbro releasing another wave of Classics?

Postby HoosierDaddy » Sat Aug 18, 2007 3:29 am

My local Wal Mart just got in a case of Optimus and Jetfire Classics voyagers. Is this just a case that may have been overlooked in the warehouse and sent or is Hasbro releasing more Classics? Anybody heard anything on it?

It is more than likely leftover stock from the factories being used to fill up empty shelf space due to the popularity of the movie toys.

I thought I read on some message board, that they were restocking the Classics and I thought this was a sign of that being truth but it looks like nobody here seems to have heard that so.........

Motto: "Collecting little transforming action figures is the right of all sentient Geeks."
Weapon: Indepentently Targetable Particle Beam Cannons
Some stores seem to be re-shelfing some Classics, and Cybertron, however, no new waves are coming, as in no new figures will be made. whatever is getting put on shelves is what{s left over from when they were removed when the Movie line was put on.

So pick up what you can now, as it most likely will be the final stock we see of Classics and Cybertron.

Cool, thanks. I went to transformersclassics.com and they also said that Wal Mart is pulling any old stock out of distribution centers to fill in the empty shelves from the absence of movie figs. My Wal Mart has about 5 Jetfires and 5 Optimus Classics and a few Cybertron figs and an end cap with Cybertron Primus. I can't afford him right now but DAMN I really want one!!
