With the recently released City Commander kit I want to to get him, but the only online place that seems to have the Magnus/Skywarp or Magnus/Prime bundles are eBay where they're going for well over 50 dollars.

Anyone know if they're available anywhere, in store or online besides eBay and Amazon?

I hear scattered reports of the occasional Magnus/Prime 2 Pack being found in stores, but they're getting harder and harder to find.

50 bucks might be a good deal right now.

Are you kidding? Pretty soon, the figure is going to cost more than the armor, and then the G1 Missile launchers will cost a fortune as well!!!!

agreed! more and more people are gonna want 'the white prime repaint' now that the CC armour has been released!

No kidding!! I ended up bidding in 4 auctions the past 2 weeks just so I can have him look complete with his missles and launcher. Those launchers weren't so bad then, but there were definitely harder to find then the missles.

I thought I had a set of launchers and missles, but I couldn't find them when I went through all of my stuff, so I'll have to pick up a set as well. I'll wait a while though, I'm sure they will be a lot easier to find mid next year.

Considering that Magnus figure is going on 3 years since its release, the chances you'll find them in regular retail are slim to none at best.

You could of course wait and hope Hasbro re-releases him for 25th next year.

Robotkingdom has the Prime and Magnus two pack for exactly 50 bucks. that's 25 a piece plus shipping.

Big Bad Toy Store is sold out of their preorders.

TFSource is sold out of their stock.

The best place I found through google was http://toyarena.com, which prices the set at $64 plus $12 proprity mail shipping. Robotkingdom is cheaper, but they're based on Hong Kong so shipping is likely to consume the difference.

I'm hoping I get my ship notification on my Optimus/Magnus order today. My City Commander shipped from Big Bad this morning.

Asian online toy stores might list them for lower but add the international shipping it climbs back to $70 shipped range. I took dive on a $66 shipped deal on eBay last night for a MISB classic UM/OP set, lowest buy-it-now deal at the moment.

Yeah ol Classics Magnus is a pretty hot commodity right now. Just that figure itself has jumped 20-30 bucks since the CC release. I have a MISB classics Prime if anyone is interested?

Ugh, yeah, it seems that no matter what it's going to be 60+ for either of the 2packs.

Maybe I'll just grab the City Commander kit now and pray that Hasbro rereleases him for 25th anniversary.
