I am looking for a transformer figure that I had when I was young. I can't remember the character's name but the figure had an unusual characteristic. It had a large canon that I remember being in the front of the transformer when it was in the vehicle mode. I believe the canon was off-white in color, perhaps gray, and didn't look like a gun. It had a trigger with a spring-loaded piece inside. When you pressed the trigger, the canon would split in half horizontally such that each half rotated 90 degrees away from each other. The spring-loaded “projectile” would extend a few inches when you pressed the trigger. The projectile was permanently attached and would just extend/retract. I was born in 1980 so presumably it is G1 or G2 figure. I believe it was a flying character but I don’t remember it resembling a jet or helicopter. Does this sound familiar?
Thanks!
Mike
