Masterpiece Starscream is awesome.

Feel free to discuss anything about any of the thousands of Transformer toys here. Anything from Generation 1 all the way to the soon to be released, the never to be released or the hope to be released is fair game! Want to show off your stuff? Please post your's and see others in the Transformers Collections Forum.

Vegitron wrote:Haha, same thing happened to me! All 3 Walmarts I've been checking had no trace of MP-SS. Then I read your post and thought I'd check one more Walmart that I hadn't checked yet.

Sure enough there was one all by itself on the shelf. Then I looked up and there was another one barely noticable on the very very top shelf. You should have seen me climbing up to get it while nobody was watching! :)

To be honest, with all the time and money I spent on gas, I could have been better off buying it off Ebay for $70-$75.

I think some Walmarts probably will never carry it as this one actually had dedicated shelf space with the tag marked "Starscream" for it. All the rest didn't have any space set aside.

Skiman wrote:I finally got him, I found him near but not in the three Wal-Marts near me!

Bought four of them!

Yeah I'm so glad I found him, I was the same way while putting him into a cart. At first I was looking at the first 8 feet on the Transformer aisle and saw another, thinking to myself another disappointment but I then looked a little to my left at the next 8 foot section and long behold MPSS FEST! I was like "Sweet HELL YEAH, now where's a damn cart!"

I almost missed them in my one store. They were in a center display facing paints and sporting goods, but then there were over a dozen. My nearest store finally got him too, and in droves!

Does anyone know will he be on sale on Friday? If so I may pick up an extra or 2 :-)

I was constantly doin this... Just praying for a chance of him being display on a condola! (This was at the other Wal-Marts that never carried him, when I was there!)

To strip off paint on figures I use nail polish remover and a Q-tip. I usually set alot of the nail polish remover on the area that has color I want to remove and then come back to it after a few minutes. Then I scrub at it with the Q-tip - it helps remove exact areas of paint.

I'm so tempted to Q-tip this guy up to remove that extra paint. I here there's an actual blue nosecone under there.

But I don't really wanna have to end up buying 2 if I were to screw it up. Anyone got a step by step or a link on removing that weathering?

If I'm looking at this correctly...from the two posts you made, with two different pictures...one could gather that you've purchased TEN Masterpiece Starscreams?

If not ten, then you've purchased six total, which still mystifies me.

What on Earth do you need with six to ten Masterpiece Starscreams?

...if you say eBay, I'm going to scream "SCALPER!"

Nope just six of them and no I am not selling them, they are for my own collection! Do u blame me for getting them, I've been searching for this guy for a while and none of the Wal-Marts have had them exception of this one that I've visted twice in the past four days!

No I am not a scalper, I've been fighting these guys off in my area, so when I see opportunity, I pounced!

All joking aside....I'd *LOVE* to see someone do that with the Masterpiece mold.

...that would look absolutely fantastic.

Excellent. Just nice to know they haven't ended up in the hands of someone planning to sell them for unholy profit, Not that MP SS seems to be going for excessive prices on ebay, but you never know. And if you do make all six seekers, I want to see the results. Especially the coneheads. :D
