Ha! Radio.

Kind of expensive, especially compared to UT's $75 Blaster. Not that I'm getting either of them...

Surprised it's up without confirmation on whether it can play G1 sized tapes. It probably can't, but it'd be nice to know.

I don't have a problem with the fake speakers , iv'e read a lot of comments with this being an issue . Personally it's just extra detail to me , no biggie .

Same with the transformation many have said it copy's MP Soundwave , is that really a bad thing .

Also, I have no problem supporting 3rd Party products that are original in mold and engineering, but, to me at least, a lot of the allure is lost when you know you're not getting something entirely "new," which is why borrowing from MP Soundwave is a turn off for me.

I understand your point and why it is a turn off to collectors paying a chunk of money for a 3rdp transformer that does not have it's own unique transformation .

If it is the exact same transformation shame on them for being uninspiring and lazy.

I don't feel either way about it , i mean i don't feel like i would be buying a KO or like iv'e been ripped off , i love the sculpt of the figure and that's the main thing i look at since that's the it will be displayed , then it's alt mode and then transformation, if the first two look good it doesn't really matter how i get from A to B and back .

I kind of share your attitude. It's not a deal breaker for me.

I do wish the head was a little more Blaster though.

i mean, i do like this guy. a lot actually. much more than UT. but as ive stated before, i dont want perfect G1 renditions on my classics shelf. thats what MP's are for. and for a modern revision, device label broadblast is perfect.

Had to check the sizing of this guy again cos for some reason i got it in my head that this was going to be nearer Leader scale but perhaps I was confusing it with the FansToys proto!

On MS Blaster, Noticed the ingenious double rotating articulation in each thigh. Which reveals a hidden walking hip joint with full range of motion.

UT Blaster has that waist plate that prevents full range of walking movement.

I'm going with UT for this one.

The fake speakers, and Soundwave style transform are deal breakers for me.

One of the things I always liked about Blaster was that he did have a different transform from Soundwave. Even though both transforms were simple, rectangles, that fact was always cool to me.

Yet another reason not to buy this guy, fake speakers, a ripped off transformation now needless die cast parts. So glad I pulled the trigger on UT Soundmixer instead, that guy is one sweet figure.

The added diecast could be the reason there called Megasteel ? i guess we will see with there next release , Hopefully it's Soundwave .

You know the ironic thing is, if they were to make Soundwave and ditch the die cast I would be all over it.

Who the hell starts displaying foam inserts when they don't even have a full colored test shot yet ? Those fake speakers killed it for me. The baby face isn't helping either. Got UT Soundmixer in my pile of loot.

I also went for Soundmixer, your right the speakers absolutely kill this figure and that diecast is the final nail in the coffin.

Well, good to see this guy back in the news. Still wonder how he holds up against Unique Toys' version or even Device Label Blaster.

And the more pertinent question in my mind: is Megasteel going to be a praise-worthy company or another stinker? Let's hope for the best, because that Megatron of theirs is looking stone cold.
