So after months of waiting and anticipation my City Commander arrived from BBTS today. I literaly raced home afer work for this. As soon as I removed the trailer from the box I wanted to see how it looked attached in alt mode and noticed there was no little black connecter. I didn't panic, I figured it was packed away in the trailer somewhere. Sadly it was not. Not a bid deal, as I plan to display UM in bot mode, but still it should have been there. I emailed BBTS to see what could be done. I see they are now sold out, so them just opening one up and sending me the missing piece probably won't be an option. I just emailed them this evening. I'm sure I will hear back from them tomorrow, but man this sucks!

Dude, Duq that sucks! All I can think of is dropping a line to Fans Project about it, they may have a spare since they're doing the Nemesis version in a couple of months. Still, since they are a small company in Asia, I wouldn't hold my breath. Or you could return it to BBTS.

I have considered emailing Fans Project, but I will wait to see what BBTS tells me first. I ordered the Shadow Commander set as well, if nothing else they can share the peice.

Man, that's suck. Hopefully, they'll send you a replacement. Without that clip, Magnus can't haul his trailer.

Good news! I just got a reply form BBTS customer service, they are mailing me a replacement part as we speak. I had hoped that even though they show the set to be sold out they may retain a few for situations such as this. BBTS customer service comes through again.

Great to hear that you got your replacement part! I recently had some trouble with my bank and a payment for my City Commander set, and BBTS was incredibly nice and helpful. I think their policy is 9 days to make a payment, but after emailing them and explaining the situation and that it might take a little while to sort it out, they offered me an additional ten days to make my payment while they held my preorder. This was my first buy from them (I really only started looking for online TF buying other than ebay specifically to get the City Commander set), and I'm definitely going to get from them whenever I can. BBTS is just a great place that seems to be run by people who care about us.

(If this sounds like a puff piece for BBTS I'm sorry, but I really am just stoked about how nice they were. After years of call center customer service, dealing with them was an amazing relief)

Yeah, BBTS customer service is awesome. So are the dudes from the vintage department. Hope mt CC ain't missing no pieces!

BBTS is top notch when it comes to customer service. Anytime I've had a question of any sort it's been answered within one business day in a friendly and professional manner. Some people hate on them for their prices (which I never have found unreasonable)but I don't mind paying a little extra for situations just like the one I just had with City Commander.

They seem to have a very good customer service.
Unfortunately I can't order from them as I live in the UK and they always declare the full value of the purchases and I get totally smacked with customs charges. Ebay :-(

It's usually ebay for me.

Just a quick follow up my replacement piece showed up today safe and sound. My City Commander is now complete. :grin:

He even looks good in alt mode I must say.

Mine arrived today, I had a horror moment when I realised one fist was glued solid. It took a LOT of force, but I snapped the glue and now City Commander is perfect. Gorgeous transformer.
