After seeing this guy this morning I came to the realization that I'm gonna want a set of Dinobots to go up against the upcoming CW Devastator.

If the Fans Toys Dinos end up being too big, that'll be a great excuse to pick this set up as well.

Nice review, and he just dropped into my PoL, which means once I ship him, my Classics Dinobots can be finished!!!

Unless any of the remaining FP or PX releases supplant a character I already have, I'm a happy camper.

Meh...It looks more like a monitor lizard than a stegosaurus. Nothing impresses me about this line or the video game behind it. I’m sticking with my Fansproject. I look forward to seeing Planet X make the inevitable switch to G1/classics the same way MMC ditched the HOS line.

You can't be very familiar with the Stegosaurus- he looks MUCH more Stegosaurus-y than G1 Snarl ever did (high pelvis, small head, fairly long tail etc). Unless of course the entirety of your knowledge on dinosaurs comes from 80s cartoons, in which case...I got nothin'.

Seriously though, you've already voiced your dislike of this line and of FoC in general. Why do you keep posting here? You've made your point. We get it. You don't like these figures. Do you need to keep hammering your point in like this?

As for PX making G1 figures, I really hope they don't. We have enough companies doing G1 stuff, and it's good to have at least 1 company doing something different. Besides, there's so many cool designs from FoC and WFC that have yet to be realized in plastic- Warpath, the Insections (aside from Kickback), a non-crap Bruticus, FoC Megatron, Trypticon...

That's a good thing to me, too.

I've loved their Swoop, Snarl and Sludge. They're great toys and representations of the Dinobots. And them being FOC-styled, it means I don't need a Grimlock.

He's neat, and very different from the FP version.

I am seriously tempted to double dip here, even though I have all 5 Dinobots in their "Classics" forms.
