Re: Poll - Who's your Classics Arcee?
don't have any of them, because, as yet, there's not been one that I've liked enough to justify the price. I'd like to get the Energon one just to fit with the homage collection I've got going on there, but it wouldn't be my Classics Arcee. As much as I want a car alt mode, I'm sorely tempted by the PE version for her bot mode and accessories.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.

Delicate Warrior, she resembles her original vehicle mode, stands under it's own power (I'm looking at you Valkyrie) and looks great with the rest of my collection. I have no regrets getting her for my classics shelf.
Watch the first of my youtube series, Friends Transform.

And a "wait till Generations Arcee" option. Even if it is futile.TulioDude wrote:We need a PRime Arcee choice.

I'm using animated Arcee with a custom classics head I bought off of eBay.
Here is an photo from the original listing since I am traveling and can not take one myself.

I don't consider it my Classics version, but my Movie 2007 Arcee is a pretty sweet figure. Definitely could be a stand in for me.

PE Motobot.
I'd have gotten iGear's Delicate Warrior but it's really difficult to track down and even harder to open my wallet for.
But my '86 movie collection is mostly Generations figures and are different enough from their G1 incarnations for Motobot not to look out of place.

I've already snapped off one of the bipod legs. The tiny plastic (or is it resin?) pins than they hinge on are so fragile. Had to drill in with a pin vice and embed a short length of brass rod to reattach it.

There's a pink-shaped hole on my Classics shelf.
(Yes, I'm aware that pink isn't actually a shape)

How much did you pay that head? I thought at first going down this route, but I'll had to scrap a perfectly good (and already expensive) Animated Arcee to attach a head that would have cost me around 30-40$!
So, 60-80$ total or a ho-hum result...
I instead bought I-Gear's Delicate Warrior without regrets.

Animated Arcee gets another vote from me. For one thing, I favor official HasTak products whenever possible. Secondly, her enlarged head and Animated style curves, just make her look that much more effeminite hanging on (Botcon07)Springer's arm. While most of my Classics shelf comes from the Classcs/Universe/Generations lines, there are a few exceptions. Animated Swoop, for example. City Commander. Several Botcon figures whose mostly Cybertron molds predate Classics. In short, my Classics shelf already features molds from a variety of toylines, representing UPDATED versions of G1 characters, not intendxed to be G1 comic/toy/show accurate, merely familiar. So, with all that in mind, why would I fork over the extra money for a very specific G1 styled figure like Valkyrie or Delicate Warrior? Answer: I wouldn't, I'll save that money for some equally nerdy purchase.

Re: Poll - Who's your Classics Arcee?
This thread makes me want a WFC/FoC Arcee.
Big possibility she'll come out in 2013 though, which is good.

The Animated Arcee set me back less than $10 (Toys R Us had her on clearance in my area) and the head was around $15 with shipping ... so all in all "classics" Arcee cost me under $25. Plus the old head just pops right off the balljoint and the new one pops on. I still have the old head in a box with the original Classics Cliffjumper head (since I use the FP upgrade on him).

MGT-01 looks closest to Arcee, and is pretty nice. But please fix the poll and stop attributing that toy to iGear. It's like me saying 'Kapow Toys' Giant because I happened to buy Giant from Kapow.

That mean you were lucky enough to have everything at the right time. Anyone who want to try this option NOW will get molested on Ebay.
It look very nice like this, but would be perfect under the hands of a proffesional painter to make her mor PINK.
