Is he really that blocky? I admit his legs don't move at all but so did a lot of Original transformer figures the original G1 Optimus prime also has only moveable arms, the cars also were a bit blocky too.

As for cost he is 60CM for £300-£1000 is that anything compared to other boxed Transformers of the same period? they are smaller and go for far more than Maximus. This does bring up an interesting point though why bother reissuing a toy and not redesign some of it with moving legs they could just use Scorponoks leg design mode for the legs this would also please fans.

I'm going to wait until this time next year for the reviews to come out in case of flaws etc...

The swords seems to be included in the package......... :???:

Wait wat. I'm SURE I read that it was NOT included. Oh well, if it is... It wont matter to me anyways since I'm so broke. :-(

He's actually got quite a few points of meaningful articulation all together.

Personally a re-issue should be exactly as the original. That's the point of re-issues in my opinion.

Because then you fall in George Lucas territory. Where he adds things to the movies every time he re-releases them. Many of which aren't needed or wanted at all.

The add ons to the new Star Wars films were in my opinion never really made any difference to the story it just fleshed them out the characters a bit made them more human.

As for the price once I saw a G1 soundwave go for £1000 and later boxed menasor giftset go for another £1000 now who would buy them for that amount of money?

I'm gonna save up for the rest of the year or this time next year as I suspect the price will drop drastically and people will start randomly selling parts of them off for some reason as I have seen people do with the Bruticus maximus set and other reissue figures.
