RID-BOT SHOTS
- Weapon: Energo-Sword
I just got back from my local TRU in NJ and they just finished reorganizing their shelves.
The Had 2 BB RID firgures. I decided against getting him at $14.99 hopefully they will come down in price and have a few other figures other than BB.
The had Bot Shots as well. Barricade, BB, OP and Star Scream.
I also saw a TF Prime BB ION Blaster First Edition. That was cool.
here are some pictures.

Transformers Bot-Shots sighted at retail
- Motto: "Don't do drugs, beer's cheaper anyway!"
Seibertron.com member "tattooed-transformer" popped down his local Toysrus (NJ) and found that they had reorganised their Transformers display. Amongst RID Deluxe Bumblebee and a Bumblebee Ion Blaster he also found three Bot-Shots, Optimus Prime, Barricade and Starscream.
He also took pictures of his find, we have mirrored the Bot-Shots images only, for the rest you can just click here.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Guess I should have reported this a few weeks ago when I saw them at the TRU in Buford, GA.

Yeah, I've been seeing them for weeks, as well. I didn't report it because I figured no one wants them anyway. The fact that no one appears to be buying them confirms that. They're already shelf-warmers. I watched a mom offer to buy one for her son who was looking at TFs and was about 6-7 years old - probably the target audience for this product - and he said "No, those are funny-looking".

Well, I'm probably going to buy a few when they come out.
I hope the kids love them, they're a really fun idea.

Yeah, I thought these had been reported weeks ago. I posted it the Prime hauls that I spotted every single one from Wave 1.

Too bad these aren't sold in variable 2-packs. They could have packed one in robot and one in alt mode, it would have been much nicer visually. There should at least be a starter pack that does that. It is a game, it should be promoted as one better.
I like the battle bug things better. You drink some beer and turn them on. The last one on the table wins. Seriously, enough alcohol and those things are a riot to watch.
*Edit-
Hadn't seen these before, I will look out for it:

I don't know about everyone else, but I love the things. They're so adorable. Now granted, I don't think "adorable" is what most Transformer collectors are looking for, so that might explain it if they end up as shelf-warmers.

I think they're cute too. Kind of kicking myself for not picking up OP when I saw him a week ago, but my "your budget was spent on Takara FE's" side had kicked in.
The good part is these guys just started coming out, so I'll more than likely run into then again later.
I think once people realize they're a rock-paper-scissor game the'll sell. Right now they're a new subject matter. It'll take a while for it to dawn on the kids (and parents).

My Prime and Bot Shots Haul
Posted this last week in the State-by-state forums. I love these little guys. I hope they make a 100 of them! This is probably because I passed on Kre-o's and their similarity to SD.

I like 'em! I grabbed Optimus, and I want Starscream and possibly Jetfire.
